The Great Redemption

By Stacia W. Adams

The Bible reveals to us that the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period will begin not just when the Church was raptured but also when Israel signs the treaty with the Anti-Christ. This treaty is supposed to be a treaty of peace but in reality it pressing the start button for the Tribulation Period. As the clock begins to count down we see the sovereignty of God in full effect.

THE TRIBULATION SAINTS

During the Tribulation Period there will be many people who come to the knowledge of the truth of Jesus the Christ and seek salvation. The tribulation during this time period will be specific and strategically designed to the attention of the Jews. The Jews, the chosen of God, will be brought back into their original purpose to be an example of Christ to the world. The profession of Israel’s faith in Jesus, the outcry of their testimony of faith, especially during this particular time period will stir the hearts of many  and they too will be saved. These individuals will ultimately become their own sacrifice as Christ was on Calvary. They will shed their own blood for Christ with the full understanding that if they save their life they will lose it, but if they lose their life for the sake of Christ they will be saved. (Luke 16:25)

PALM TREES

Palms trees, although there are nearly 3,000 different species of these trees they stand out amongst all the others. They are easily distinguished by their leaves, trunks, flowers and the fruits that they bear. Palm Trees are symbolic of both peace and praise. In John 12, Jesus, the Prince of Peace, enters the city of Jerusalem which means City of Peace riding on a donkey and the people are in the streets of Jerusalem crying Hosanna. Once again in Revelation Chapter 7 we see the Tribulation Saints with Palm Branches worshiping the Lamb of God who was slain for their sins but also the Lion of Judah who reigns supreme. They are praising Christ for their redemption, their freedom to praise and their reward for their faith.

Not one of us knows the day or the hour when Christ will return but it’s important that we remember that He is on His way.  As we go throughout our daily lives we must always remember that Jesus is our peace and praise is always in order and worship is a lifestyle. He is the Alpha and the Omega and all praises are to Him simply because of who He is. Let us worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.
