Northside New Era is a Word-centered ministry where no one is left behind. Our mission to evangelize the lost, edify the saved, minister to those in need and be a conscience in the community provides a holistic approach to our family-oriented ministry. We are a multi-ethnic, multicultural ministry in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Our only purpose is to glorify Christ and honor the Father by bringing the Kingdom Agenda to Earth.
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:1-3 (NIV)
Rev. Dr. Clarence C. Moore is one of the most dynamic and anointed preachers of our time, sharing the gospel with electrifying presentation, communicating with unmistakable clarity, and challenging every believer to fulfill the Kingdom Agenda set before them. His message presents uncompromising truths with a very unique style that reaches far into the hearts of listeners young and old, and of all ethnic origins.
Rev. Moore has led this growing ministry for more than 19 years. His consistent obedience to God has taken our congregation from 60 members in 1990 to a membership approaching 2,000 strong. During these years, Rev. Moore’s charismatic personality and loving spirit has permeated our congregational life. His uncompromising and bold teaching of God’s Word has changed the lives of people both at Northside New Era and around the country.
To accommodate the tremendous growth of our church membership, several building expansion plans have been realized under the direction of Rev. Moore. In 1996, our 800-seat sanctuary was refurbished. We added an elevator for the elderly and disabled, installed new stained glass windows, added a church steeple, and remodeled bathroom facilities. Over the last 10 years, we have also purchased more than 30 properties, including the old Bosma school, for future expansion. In 1997, Rev. Moore led the church to establish a full-time pastoral position and a full-time secretary position for the first time in Northside New Era’s history. In 2006, Rev. Moore led the church to break ground on a brand-new 22,000-square-foot educational and administrative facility. In March of 2008, the church marched into and dedicated our new spacious, modern facility with praises unto our God! Due to continued church growth and the inspired leadership and vision of our pastor, the church approved the addition of three more full-time staff positions in December 2009. As we continue to look to God for provision, our hope is to build a 1,500-seat state-of-the-art sanctuary with adequate parking by 2016.
