Ministry FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is salvation?

To be saved is to be rescued from sin, spiritual death and eternal punishment. When you’re saved, you are accepted by God through what His Son, Jesus, did for you on the cross.

How do I get saved?

Jesus lived and died to give us salvation. You cannot earn it or pay for it in any way. You could never deserve this wonderful gift. God offers it to you freely. You must, however, reach out to God and receive salvation, much like we would receive any other gift! The Holy Bible plainly teaches us how to receive the gift of salvation.

How do I become filled with the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is already here for every born again person. You don’t need to wait or work to receive Him. (Acts 2:38,39) If you ask for the Holy Spirit in faith, the Father will give Him to you. (Luke 11:13)

Who is the Holy Spirit?

He is your Comforter and Teacher. He wants to help you. (John 14:26) He gives you power to be a strong witness for Jesus. (Acts 1:8)
