SON Shiners Children’s Ministry Programs

	Nursery Ministry Serving children ages 1-4. Introducing them to the love of Jesus and sharing that church is a fun place! Sunday, 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
	TWEENERS (Tween Warriors Ever Edifying the Name of the Risen Savior) Ministry Ministering to children ages 10-12. Forging friendships with one another and adult leaders who care; introducing tweeners to the truth of God’s Word; rooting and grounding them in faith; and encouraging them to make a personal commitment to Jesus as Savior. Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
	SON Shiners Children’s Church Ministry Teaching children grades K through seventh grade how to WORSHIP God, BELONG to His Family, OBEY His Word, TELL others about Him and CARE for one another. In addition to relevant Spirit- filled worship and praise and an age-appropriate sermon, children are grouped in age-appropriate small groups where God’s Word is examined, discussed and dissected. Sunday, 11 a.m.
	Wednesday Night SUPERSTARS! Ministry Helping children ages 3-12 learn about God, and build strong character. Wednesday, 7 p.m.
	Heritage K.I.D.S. Ministry Helping children ages 10-12 learn African-American history and culture. Program spans classical Africa through the present and President Obama’s presidency. K-Keepers of The Legacy I-Identifiers of The Truth D-Dreamcasters for the future S-Sharers of the vision Wednesday, 7 p.m.
	Children’s Intake / Salvation Ministry Helping children ages 7- 12 to develop an understanding of Salvation and Cultivate a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. By Appointment
	Joyful Praise Dance Ministry Helping children ages 5-12 praise and worship God in innovative and creative ways through movement and dance!
	Voices of Hope Children’s Choir Ministry lping children ages 5 – 12 learn to Praise, Worship God and Minister through Music and Song. Saturday (See Church Calendar for rehearsal dates)
	Vacation Bible School Providing an intensive, fun-filled, non-traditional week of Bible lessons, music, crafts, and awesome activities for children to Experience the Love of Jesus during the Summer months. (Seasonal)
	SON Shiners Character Summer Camp SON Shiners Character Summer Camp’s mission is to invest time and energy into the lives of children through the love of Jesus Christ. Along with providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, each Camp Counselor at SON Shiners Character Summer Camp strives to make an impact by being a positive influence on a daily basis.One of our main goals is to have fun and stay active all day long! Children participate in Bible lessons, academics, summer reading, sports, arts, crafts, theatre, recreation, swimming, music, African-American History and culture along with many other exciting activities throughout the summer.
